Through this integrated environment, personal data necessary for flight training, safety, and operations management is collected, including:

Aviation Records: FAA pilot certificates, medical certificates, government-issued identification, and logbook currencies.
Operational Logs: Flight hours (Hobbs/Tach), lesson progress, and training space sign-in data.

2. HOW WE SHARE AND COMPARTMENTALIZE YOUR DATA
Because flight training requires a synchronized ecosystem between platform providers, plane owners, and instructors, you grant Little Rudder the irrevocable right to share your information across our ecosystem partners:
Fly Learn LLC: As the primary data processor, technology host, and billing agent.
Aircraft Providers: Authorized owners and operators of the fleet, to verify pilot credentials, insurance binders, and regulatory compliance before aircraft rental.
Independent Flight Instructors: To allow authorized instructors to view your syllabus progress, schedule lessons, and log flight metrics.
Regulatory Authorities: Data may be shared with the FAA, NTSB, or law enforcement as required by federal record-keeping laws.
3. THE “BREACH SHIELD” & LIABILITY LIMITATION
Little Rudder and Fly Learn utilize commercially reasonable administrative and technical controls to protect your data. However, aviation data networks involve multiple end-users (instructors, students, and dispatchers).
No Guarantee: You acknowledge that no data transmission or storage system is 100% secure.
Waiver of Data Liability: Little Rudder Flight School LLC, its members, managers, and associated staff are not liable for any unauthorized access, identity theft, data breach, or digital leaks, regardless of how the data was obtained or whether negligence is alleged. Uploading sensitive documents (such as FAA medicals or photo IDs) via the portal is done entirely at your own risk.
4. SMS PRIVACY & CONSUMER DATA PROTECTION
We value your privacy and the security of your wireless communication channel. SMS Privacy: No mobile opt-in data will be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. 6. YOUR RIGHTS & OPTING OUT
Aviation Record Retention: Due to FAA safety mandates, transportation safety laws, and billing audits, certain training and flight logs cannot be immediately deleted upon request.
Opt-Out: Your primary recourse regarding the collection and distribution of data under this policy is to immediately cease using this Website, the portal link, and any designated Little Rudder spaces. Continued use constitutes explicit, legally binding consent.
7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may modify this Privacy Policy at any time without individual notice. The “Effective Date” at the top of this document will reflect the most recent update.
