Master the Skies with Expert Flight Training

Meet the dedicated instructors who guide your journey to becoming a skilled pilot.

The Team

Cruz Coloma
As a graduate of Northwestern Michigan College’s Aviation Flight Technologies program, I bring a structured, collegiate-level discipline to every flight lesson. My journey began early with dual enrollment at Lansing Community College and a Career Tech Education course through Crosswinds Aviation while still in high school. Since then, I have trained across the Midwest and through the high-density airspace of Mesa, Arizona.

This background allows me to provide my students with a comprehensive understanding of diverse operating environments, from complex weather patterns to busy terminal areas. I am dedicated to producing safe, professional, and proficient pilots by applying the same rigorous standards I’ve maintained throughout my own training. I look forward to helping you navigate your own path to the flight deck with confidence.

Koby Hansen
After earning my Bachelor’s in Business Management from BYU-Idaho and building a foundation in the corporate sector, a single Discovery Flight changed my trajectory forever. I knew immediately that aviation wasn’t just a hobby—it was my career.

My journey took me from the challenging mountain terrain of Idaho to the expansive plains of Kansas, eventually leading me to Phoenix, Arizona. This is where I became a CFI/CFII and started working as an instructor and was hired at a 141 Flight school. I later transitioned to instructing in Alpha Trainers at Falcon Field where I became the Chief Flight Instructor overseing and developing curriculum and material for students to use.

Nate King
After graduating with an undergraduate degree in business administration, I worked a sales role in the midwest. A few years into the role, l realized I wanted a more hands on career and aviation was calling me. I jumped into training the beginning of 2022, and finished all my ratings (PPL/IR/CSEL/CMEL/CFI/CFII/MEI) in 2023.

I left Minnesota to instruct in Arizona, where I have experience instructing both part 61 and part 141. I enjoy helping students reach their aviation goals, whether it be a new career or flying recreationally. When I’m not in the sky, you can find me and my wife hiking, camping, and exploring the beautiful American Southwest. I love the sense of adventure and freedom that flying brings, and can’t wait to share it with you!

Zach Weeks
I completed training at Gateway Airport in Mesa Arizona. Soon after I began teaching in Alpha Trainers out of Falcon Field. I have flown over 1000 hours in these planes almost all of that time guiding and instructing students.
In addition to instructing, I have also continued my education, acquiring my CTP and experience in various aircraft.
I look forward to helping the next generation of pilots build foundational stick and rudder skills that can lead them to enjoy the skys and build lasting careers in aviaiton.
